Bulgarian Institute for Standardization participated in the implementation of a project under Leonardo da Vinci Programme, contract № CZ/10/LLP-LdV/TOI/134011, with Mendel University, Brno, Czech Republic:

VIRTUAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME FOR FURNITURE BRANCH

The Bulgarian Institute for Standardization participated as a partner in the successful realization of the Virtual Educational Programme for Furniture Branch projectunder "Leonardo da Vinci", Transfer of Innovation, funded by the European Commission in 2012. The result of the project is the creation of multifunctional interactive portal with a vocabulary in 5 languages and e-learning modules designed for a wide range of users - students, teachers, constructors, designers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers. The portal offers not only translation of basic terms in the furniture industry, but also a database of titles, subject and scope of the European standards related to the furniture industry and the existing legislation in the five partner countries in English, German, Bulgarian, Czech, Slovak.
