Public enquiry is an important part of the standardization process, necessary to meet the requirements for transparency and consensus in the development of standards arising from Regulation 1025/2012 on European standardisation.
The figure below illustrates the standard development process - from the project idea to the publication of the standard. At certain stages it is necessary to consult the interested parties through PUBLIC ENQUIRY. Your active involvement and competently reasoned opinion/position can influence the content of the standard.
