Steels and cast irons - Determination of chromium content - Flame atomic absorption spectrometric method (FAAS)
Scope
This document specifies a method for the determination of chromium in steels and irons by means of flame atomic absorption spectrometry.
The method is applicable to non-alloy and low-alloy steels and irons with chromium contents of 0,002 to 2 % (m/m) (see Annex).
