Managing Director

Mrs. Iren Dabizheva is the Managing Director of the Bulgarian Institute for Standardization since December 21st, 2010.

She has graduated in “Engineering in the industrial and civil construction” at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in 1973.

She worked as design engineer at IPP “Isproekt” – Sofia from 1973 to 1999. She consecutively occupied the positions of designer, group manager and leading designer.

Since 1999 she has been working at the Bulgarian Institute for Standardization consecutively as chief specialist, Head of “Coordination, control and TC registration” sector, Head of “Building and construction materials” sector and secretary of TC 4 “Cement, lime and gypsum”, TC 5 “Concrete and mortars” and TC 56 “Design of building construction”.

She was appointed at the position of Acting Managing Director from December 21st, 2009 to December 21st, 2010 and Managing Director since December 21st, 2010.
