Final details on standards trainings were agreed at the 3rd partnership meeting under ISTRA project
The 3rd partnership meeting under ISTRA project - International Standards training in VET for promotion of market relevant education 2016-1-BG01-KA202-023738, funded by Erasmus+ programme of EC, was held on 14 February 2018 in Presov, Slovakia.
The aims of the meeting were to make an overview of the implementation of the project so far, to plan the forthcoming tasks and to agree on the final details and schedule the training courses on standards.
The meeting was hosted by the Secondary Technical School of Electrical Engineering, Slovakia and it was attended by 15 participants from all partner organizations. BDS was presented by Rositsa Georgieva, Director of “Publishing, sales and services” Directorate, Petar Lozev, Chief expert and Secretary of BDS/TC 34 and Vanina Pencheva, Expert at ‘International Cooperation” Department, members of BDS project team.
The following topics were discussed: the project progress, issues related to the project management and reporting, training of trainers overview, current statement of the training content for ISO 27000 series for information security management systems and ISO 31000 series for risk management, planning of the trainings, etc. Mrs. Rositsa Georgieva presented the concept and the content of the elaborated by BDS three training modules on ISO 31000. She informed the participants that ISO had scheduled the issuing of a new edition of the ISO 31000 standard and the partners agreed that the content of the training course would be updated in line with the major changes of the new standard.
The partners discussed and made important decisions on the training of co-trainers and agreed on a detailed schedule for the trainings of trainees:
The courses for co-trainers will be held in the March – April 2018 and the feedback will be used for improvement of the training content. The trainings of trainees in ISO 27000 series for information security management systems and ISO 31000 series for risk management will take place in the period 16 April – 15 June 2018. The leading trainers will be from LVS (Latvia) and BDS (Bulgaria) respectively.
