to maintain the EN ISO collection supporting the Recreational Craft Directive and transitional periods for harmonized standards. to use as far as possible the standards prepared by ISO/TC 188 'Small Craft' and to handle the proposed ISO documents in the framework of the Vienna Agreement. to facilitate the maintenance of the EN ISO collection supporting the Recreational Craft Directive; to facilitate the development of ‘European deliverable (EN, TS, CWA), in absence of consensus at global level or in absence of interest at ISO level. In addition, it will support the participation of European expert in ISO/TC 188 standard development with the aim to support the ISO/TC 188 secretariat with Annex ZA.
