Scope

Standardization of technical requirements, testings, dimensions and terminology for castors and wheels (which may include fittings such as wheel and/or swivel locking and/or braking devices) for general applications. Wheels for road vehicles are excluded
Standardization of intermodal loading units, which are designed for intermodal transport within Europe, including the interoperability between the different transport modes. Standardization of the minimum requirements and test methods for cargo securing.
