This BDS/TC is a mirror of the following European and international technical committees
Gaseous and liquid fuels, lubricants and related products of petroleum, synthetic and biological origin.
Gaseous and liquid fuels, lubricants and related products of petroleum, synthetic and biological origin.
Standardization of methods of sampling, analysis and testing, terminology and specifications and classifications for petroleum related products, fuels, lubricants and hydraulic fluids, that origin from mineral oil and biomass; including the standardization of gaseous and liquid fuels and bio-fuels for transport and stationary applications. It excludes bio-methane and natural gas. The standards include those for characterizing the product quality and for related aspects, e.g. a quality monitoring system for automotive fuel.

Bituminous binders
Bituminous binders
Terminology, methods of sampling, standardisation of test methods, classification and specifications for bituminous binders. Group of products covered by standardisation: petroleum refined bitumens, modified bitumens, bituminous emulsions, fluxed and cutback bitumens - Used for paving and industrial applications.
P member
Fuel labelling
Fuel labelling
Development of standards that provide a harmonized identifier of marketed liquid and gaseous fuels. The requirements set in the standard shall be based on real information needs of consumers regarding the fuel- and vehicle-compatibility. The identifier shall consist of a graphical expression, defined also in term of colour and shape, and be simple and easy to understand while ensuring clear and consistent labelling of existing and new market fuels. Marketed fuels include petroleum-derived fuel blends, synthetic fuels, biofuels, natural gas, petroleum gas and biogas based fuels and hydrogen delivered to non-stationary applications

Petroleum and related products, fuels and lubricants from natural or synthetic sources
Petroleum and related products, fuels and lubricants from natural or synthetic sources
Standardization of terminology, classification, specifications, methods of sampling, measurement, analysis and testing for: Crude petroleum; Petroleum-based liquid and liquefied fuels; Non-petroleum based liquid and liquefied fuels from natural or synthetic sources; Gaseous fuels for transport applications; Measurement of gaseous fuels liquefied by refrigeration or compression; Petroleum based lubricants and fluids (including hydraulic fluids and greases); Non-petroleum based lubricants and fluids (including hydraulic fluids and greases) from natural or synthetic sources Excluded are specifications and classifications for fuels and lubricants used in the operation of aircraft and space vehicles which are the responsibility of ISO/TC 20.
O member
Liquid Biofuels
Liquid Biofuels
Standardization of terminology, classification, and specifications for liquid biofuels, and analysis and testing for pure liquid biofuels.
O member
Fluids for electrotechnical applications
Fluids for electrotechnical applications
To prepare product specifications, test methods as well as maintenance and use guides for liquid and gaseous dielectrics. Also to prepare specifications and maintenance and use guides for lubricants and control fluids for steam turbines, generators and control systems as well as to assist in the preparation of test methods for such fluids.
